Fun Times and Mini Golf

As summer winds down and school is approaching, our family is trying to fill the last couple of days with lots of fun!
Mini Golf!!

(above) It was Ellie's first time mini golfing and she LOVED it! As Ryan, Kelsey, and Connor try to get a hole in one, Ellie just throws her pink golf ball and somehow gets a hole in one. How funny.

We also went tubing at our friends cottage. Tons of fun and tons of tube burns!
The wave were huge and you just flew everywhere!
Ellie went tubing for the first time and thought it was the best thing ever! Don't worry, we were barely even moving so she wouldn't fall off.
Ellie loves getting her nails painted and loves flowers on them, if you can't tell.

We will miss summer!

Our Favorite Place In The World Is.....

OUR CABIN!!!!!!

Every we go to our cabin for maybe a weekend or so... but this year, we went for a week. Our cabin has no electricity, TV, radio, cell service, etc. We got nothin. But what we do have is a great place to spend time with family and friends.
We always play board games. This years most popular game?? Monopoly!!
Penny enjoys the cabin a lot. Maisey, not so much.

We always go thimbleberry picking at our cabin. We have Thimbleberry Hill after all!
Ha! that picture above cracks me up!

The finished product of all our Thimbleberry Hill picking below.
We had fun at the beach and in the lake.
 Ryan enjoyed the ukulele.
Ellie loved having hot chocolate every morning.
Our cousins came up this year.
(Kelsey and Laney)
 (Murphy and Ellie)
We also LOVE our creek at the cabin. We can catch crayfish, frogs, minnows and sometimes occasionally snakes. eek!

The beautiful view... no words needed.
Another one of Ellie's silly moments. About to go take a bath at the time of the picture below. Ha ha, who doesn't wear goggles in the bath nowadays??

 Want some tea??
 Never mind, I want it!!
We love our cabin!!!!!!!!

Newspaper Nails

-Kelsey

Someone recently told me about the website Pintrest. Since then, I have found some cool and very easy crafts.
When I saw these newspaper nails, I knew that I had to do them. Here's how:

1. Paint nails a very light color and let them dry completely. (We waited an hour)
2. Dip your nails either in rubbing alcohol or vodka for about 30 seconds
3. Press the newspaper tightly to your nails and hold for 30 seconds

Have fun!

Ellie's Play Date

-Kelsey

Ellie recently had a play date with her friend Grace. They played in the sandbox, slip-in-slide, and in our little blowup pool.
And, they had the same adorable suit!!!!! Yay Target!

Grad Party and Ephriam Beach

-Kelsey
As you know, Emily graduated this year. This past weekend was her graduation party!
I made 3 picture boards with pictures of Emily throughout her whole life.

We had awesome food too.
I also made this centerpiece. We basically took a green plant, printed pictures that have to do with LFC, popped 'em on sticks, and stuck them into the plant. Then we just added some roses.
Here's Emily with some of her friends. Emily is the one on the 2nd left.
Here's me with my friends. I'm the one on the left.
After the party we stayed late playing night games and having fun. The next day we went to Ephraim Beach. It was a hot day so it felt good to cool off.

What a fun weekend!!!!!!!!

Busy Summer!

Sorry for the lack of blog posting lately.... We have been so busy this summer! I'll catch you up a little bit and fill you in on the latest Keast Family happenings.

We went to Point Beach.. kind of gross actually because the whole beach was covered in dead fish. Should've brought a rake like the family next to us. We will next time for sure!

Went to Bay Beach. (thats a mini amusement park in our area)

We went to Blaine, MN for the USA World Cup. We did great in it.

We are heading to a wedding soon. Super excited!!

Emily's graduation party is coming up soon... wow next week. Jeez, we gotta get cleaning and planning.

Well, thats about all!!!!!!!! Not much going on, but with a family of seven, you're always busy.
