Newspaper Nails

Someone recently told me about the website Pintrest. Since then, I have found some cool and very easy crafts. 

 When I saw these newspaper nails, I knew that I had to do them. Here's how:

1. Paint nails a very light color and let them dry completely. (We waited an hour)

2. Dip your nails either in rubbing alcohol or vodka for about 30 seconds

3. Press the newspaper tightly to your nails and hold for 30 seconds

Ellie's Play Date

Ellie recently had a play date with her friend Grace. They played in the sandbox, slip-in-slide, and in our little blowup pool. 

 And, they had the same adorable suit!!!!! Yay Target!

Grad Party and Ephriam Beach

As you know, Emily graduated this year. This past weekend was her graduation party!

I made 3 picture boards with pictures of Emily throughout her whole life.

We had awesome food too.

I also made this centerpiece. We basically took a green plant, printed pictures that have to do with LFC, popped 'em on sticks, and stuck them into the plant. Then we just added some roses.

 After the party we stayed late playing night games and having fun. The next day we went to Ephraim Beach. It was a hot day so it felt good to cool off.

What a fun weekend!!!!!!!!

Busy Summer!

Sorry for the lack of blog posting lately.... We have been so busy this summer! I'll catch you up a little bit and fill you in on the latest Keast Family happenings. 

We went to Point Beach.. kind of gross actually because the whole beach was covered in dead fish. Should've brought a rake like the family next to us. We will next time for sure!

Went to Bay Beach. (thats a mini amusement park in our area)

We went to Blaine, MN for the USA World Cup. We did great in it.

We are heading to a wedding soon. Super excited!!

Emily's graduation party is coming up soon... wow next week. Jeez, we gotta get cleaning and planning.

Well, thats about all!!!!!!!! Not much going on, but with a family of seven, you're always busy. 

ChickenFest 2011!!!

Hey! It's Kelsey! Okay, so last night (Saturday) I had the best night of my life. My dad took me and my cousin out to Chicken Fest and we saw an amazing concert featuring iSquare, Laze and Royal, and CODY SIMPSON!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, if you have never heard of him, you need to look him up on YouTube or iTunes. Anyways, I'll show you some pictures of the concert that I was absolutely in love with. 

 (sorry they are kind of blurry. I was jumping around the whole time!!!)

Cody even sang some songs that aren't produced yet to the public. They were all so good!!! I had so much fun!

I would like to thank my dad for taking me and giving me the best night of my life!!

Breakfast On the Farm and Graduation!!!

Sorry for our lack of posting lately. We have been so busy lately we couldn't even think of blogging. Our most recent big family outing was Breakfast On the Farm. Breakfast On the Farm is a big gathering where tons of people come to eat breakfast and tour the farm on which its held. 

 Above we are enjoying our breakfast. In the background you can kind of see how many people were there for this big event. Tons more too.

 You can also see in the above photo some other activities that you could do there. There was a petting zoo, tractor pull, tours of the milking house, ice cream, etc.

 Ellie enjoyed all of the cows. All she kept saying was "Moo!! Moo!!"

Another huge happening lately was Emily's graduation. It was very stunning to see her in a cap and gown because its hard to believe that she is already going away. 

We have also started our summer vacation. It hasn't felt like summer though. Our weather has been so dull and cold compared to our earlier weeks. Hmmm, what else has happened since our last post? Not much actually. Swimming has started, soccer, more soccer and of course, playing barbies with Ellie.

Memorial Day... And the Latest News

This year, Memorial Day was very busy. 

With sports, fireworks, parades, family and fun... I didn't have time to blog! :D

So this post will catch you up on all the latest action with our family. 

 Every year our town has a parade with a bunch of local businesses, bands, sports teams and clubs. This year, Connor was in the parade with his hockey team. Emily and Ryan were also in it for marching band.  

Ellie enjoyed seeing her siblings in the parade and handing her candy.

 The weather has been hot, hot, hot, lately. School is almost over for my family. 

Emily is a senior and had her very last day yesterday (Thursday). She was very excited, but sad that her high school years are done and time for college.

Oh how Ellie enjoys her sweets! Snow cones and Popsicles are her favorite.
